OVERVIEW The MC811 Continuous PH-EC-Temperature Meter provides 24-hour continuous measurement and monitoring of pH, conductivity and temperature. Quick to set up and easy to use, these monitors can be calibrated at one or two points for pH, and at one point for EC. The stainless steel temperature probe allows temperature compensated measurements.

SWITCHING ON the MC811 Continuous PH-EC-Temperature Meter: With the monitor installed in position, plug the power connector into the 12 Vdc power adapter (supplied), and connect it to the mains.

TEMPERATURE UNIT SELECTION

To change from Celsius (default) to Fahrenheit

1. Remove the label and set the switch to the desired position.

2. Replace the label for better protection against moisture. The temperature is calibrated at the factory. pH CALIBRATION Always use fresh calibration buffers and maintain the electrode. If possible, use plastic cups to minimize EMC interference.

For accurate calibration and to minimize cross-contamination, use two beakers, one for rinsing and one for each calibration (7 and 4). One- or two-point calibration can be performed using one of three standard buffer solutions: 4, 01, 7.01 or 10.01 pH.

Procedure Remove the protective cap from the pH electrode; Immerse the pH electrode in PH7.01 calibration solution; Use the calibration screwdriver to adjust the pH 7 nut until the pH reading reads "7.0." Repeat the operation using the second PH4.01 buffer solution.

EC CALIBRATION Use the 1413 μS/cm calibration buffer (M10031). Immerse the EC probe (MA812); When the mS reading shows "1.41", the calibration is complete.

MEASUREMENTS 1. Remove the protective cap from the pH electrode. 2. To measure continuously in a nutrient tank, the probes can float with the help of a polystyrene in which they would be pecked. All three screens will show the values ​​of all parameters simultaneously.
