The PH MC720 dosing meter is a continuous meter capable of activating a correct PH dosing pump. It is very easy to use.

The PH Dosing Controller MC720 is the perfect tool to keep your pH levels under control automatically, accurately, and effortlessly. Designed to activate a dosing pump with pH corrector (pH Minus or pH Plus), this device is ideal for swimming pools, gardens, aquariums, hydroponics, and any environment where water quality matters.

The Milwaukee MC720 PRO pH Controller and Pump allows you to measure and adjust pH levels automatically.

  • The MC720 kit includes the MC122 controller and MP810 metering pump to automatically monitor and adjust pH levels. Simply set your pH parameters and let the Milwaukee pH controller and pump do the rest.

  • The Milwaukee PRO pH Controller Kit is preferred by people looking to add to their testing program when they have an ongoing need to maintain levels. Common uses are nutrient tanks and

  • aquariums.

The Milwaukee PRO pH Controller and Pump offers:

  • ACCURACY The Milwaukee PRO pH Controller offers ±0.2 pH accuracy with two-point manual calibration.

  • AUTOMATION The controller provides a pH control range of 5.5 to 9.5 with alarms that activate when readings are above or below the set point.

  • COMPATIBLE DOSING PUMP The Milwaukee MP810 metering pump (designed specifically for use with the MC122) is included in the kit.

  • EASY INSTALLATION The MC720 pH Controller and Pump Kit comes with a complete mounting kit including a probe holder.

DESIGN FEATURES

  • Quick, easy-to-read current results with large digital LCD display

  • ±0.2 pH accuracy (0.0 pH to 14.0 pH) with user-selectable high/low set points

  • Simple two-point calibration for greater precision with manual trimmers for easy adjustment

  • Gel-filled, double-junction laboratory pH electrode for low maintenance and high performance

  • 6.5 foot probe cables for added flexibility when testing.

  • 12 VDC power supply

  • The pump provides a maximum pressure of 1.5 bar or over 50 feet of head pressure with a dosing flow of 0.16 GPM.

  • USE AND CARE pH meters often start to malfunction due to problems with the probe. The two parts of the pH probe that cause problems are the glass sensing bulb and the reference junction.

  • DETECTION BULB The glass bulb loses sensitivity with use and will eventually fail. This is valid for all pH probes.

  • REFERENCE UNION The reference junction is a small hole that allows the meter to compare the sample to a reference. The reading is generated based on the electrical difference between the sample and the reference. If the junction hole becomes clogged, the pH probe will no longer function. You can extend the life of your pH electrode in the following ways.

  • STORAGE The pH probe must be kept hydrated. Prolonged periods of dry storage will damage the sensitivity of the probe. Allowing the probe to dry can also cause the junction hole to become clogged. Storage in pH probe storage solution or pH calibration buffers will help solve both problems. Do not store in tap water or deionized water. This will damage the sensitivity of the probe. The best way to store the probe is with the probe cap filled with storage solution or calibration buffer and tightened to prevent leakage. It is also recommended to store the electrode upright to further reduce the possibility of leaks.

  • CLEANING Sample residue can affect the sensitivity of the sensing bulb and clog the junction. This is especially true if the sample has a lot of organic material. We recommend regularly soaking the electrode in a cleaning solution.

  • CALIBRATION pH detector bulbs become less sensitive over time, so be sure to calibrate them periodically to maintain the accuracy of your PRO pH controller. Also, calibrate after cleaning or a long period of storage.

The MC720 PH metering controller is a continuous meter capable of activating a PH corrector metering pump (PH minus or PH plus). dosing controller

  • PH MC720 is very easy to use, having manual programming and calibration (with adjustment wheel) dosing controller

  • PH MC720 is ideal for agriculture, hydroponics, aquariums, fish farming, laboratories, education, food. Installing the PH MC720 Dosing Controller

Installing PH Controller (MC122)

  • Fix the MC122 monitor to the wall near the nutrient tank with adhesive Velcro or 4 screws.

  • Connect the pump coupling base (black and white) to the power.

  • Connect the PH electrode to the BNC socket of the monitor. Immerse the tip of the electrode (up to about 2.5cm) in the nutrient mixture.

  • Hold the electrode with the help of a polystyrene plate.

  • Turn on the monitor by pressing the ON/OFF button

IMPORTANT: The ABOVE/BELOW button is used to inform the Monitor of the direction of evolution of the PH of your mixture.

  • ILLUSTRATION: With a PH that tends to RISE (due to alkaline water or a fertilizer with high PH), choose the ABOVE position. With a PH that tends to LOWER, choose the BELOW position. Select the set point, with the help of the graduated wheel. EXAMPLE: Suppose we set the wheel to 5.5 (desired pH level) and suppose we set the cursor to ABOVE position (increasing PH). When the measurement goes to 5.6 pH, automatically, the red alarm LED and the dosing pump will be activated.

Installation of the MP810 metering pump

  • Connect the soft tube to the pump (suction tube – on the left) and the filter (white) to the other end of the tube (to prevent aspiration of solids)

  • Connect the rigid pipe to the pump (discharge pipe – on the right)

Optional: a black thread to attach to a pipe.

  • Fix the pump to the wall or directly to the water mixture bottle with PH corrector), in a vertical position in the immediate vicinity of the nutrient tank.

  • Connect the electrical socket of the dosing pump to the coupling socket (white and black) of the MC122 controller.

IMPORTANT: For a gentle adjustment of the pH of your nutrient mixture, it is advisable to dilute the PH corrector (PH Minus or PH +) with water in a bottle.

Example: For a 100 liter tank, dilute 10 cl of PH lowering acid in a 5 liter bottle of water. This data can be adjusted according to the volume of your tank, concentration of your pH corrector, and strength of your recirculation pump or air stone.

VERY IMPORTANT: For a homogeneous and immediate mixture of your PH corrector to your nutrient mixture, install a powerful recirculation pump and/or an air stone at the bottom of your tank. Good measurements with the MC720 PH dosing controller.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Does it include the dosing pump?
No, the PH MC720 controller is sold separately. We recommend pairing it with the MP810 pump for best results.

2. Is it hard to install?
Not at all. Just mount it near your tank or pool, connect the electrode, and plug it into the pump. It’s ready to go.

3. Can it be used with any type of water?
Yes, it works perfectly in pool water, hydroponics, aquariums, and even industrial processes.

4. Does it require maintenance?
Only periodic calibration of the electrode and light cleaning to ensure accurate readings.

5. Can I use it with concentrated liquid pH correctors?
Yes, but we recommend diluting them in water first for smoother and more even dosing.
